Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Recognition(पहचान):
Past Perfect Continuous Tense में हिन्दी वाक्यों के अन्त में से _रहा था , से _रही थी ,से _रहे थे आदि आता है|इस tense में activity के बीते हुए समय में काम जारी रहने का पता चलता है |
For example:
- वह 1999 से पढ़ा रहा था |
- दो दिनों से वर्षा हो रही थी|
- क्या वह तीन घंटो टेनिस खेल रही थी?
- वे यहाँ 2001 से काम कर रही थी|
Examples of Affirmative /Simple sentences
Rule:
Subject+had+been+First form of Verb+ing+since/for+Other Words.
Since is used with perfect time.Like: 2005,4 O'clock,January,Morning,Sunday etc.
For is used with countable time.Like: four years,two hours,six months,three days,several days etc.
- He had been teaching since 2000.
- She had been working in a school for five years.
- They had been running the institute since 2000.
- She had been cleaning the room since 3 o'clock.
- Rima had been waiting for father since evening.
- We had been playing in the park for two hours.
- She had been reading newspaper for an hour.
- I had been writing a story since Sunday.
- He had been watching television since 9 AM.
- The had been planning for the party for five days.
