Past Perfect Tense

Recognition(पहचान):

Past Perfect tense में हिन्दी वाक्यों के अन्त में चुका था ,चुकी थी ,चुके थे ,आ था , ई थी ,ए थे आदि शब्द आते हैं |

For example:

  1. हम इंग्लिश पढ़ चुके थे|
  2. रुस ने यूक्रेन पर हमला कर दिया था|
  3. डॉक्टर के आने से पहले रोगी मर चुका था|
  4. उसने क्लास अटेंड नहीं की थी|

Examples of Affirmative /Simple sentences

Rule:

Subject+had+Third form of Verb+Other Words.

  1. The teacher had taken the class.
  2. She had written a novel on humanity.
  3. You had already read the rules of our organization.
  4. Alia had read all the Harry Potter novels by the time.
  5. I had completed my work before my parents arrived.
  6. The kite had flown high on the sky.
  7. Ram had killed Ravan.
  8. He had reached Delhi.
  9. They had sold books.
  10. The patient died before the doctor came.
  11. The sun had risen when I reached the station.
  12. My friend, Siya, had already watched the movie before we met.



Examples of Negative sentences:

Rule:

Subject+had+not+Third form of Verb+Other Words.

  1. The teacher had not taught the lesson.
  2. My friends hadn't ever gone to France.
  3. We hadn't played any game from yesterday. 
  4. He hadn't paid any cash amount to the dealer. 
  5. Mohan had not come to the wedding ceremony.
  6. I had not eaten at that restaurant before today.
  7. Seema hadn't had time to explain her side of the story.
  8. They had not attended the class.



Examples of Interrogative sentences:

  1. Had you heard about that Compuhelp before?
  2. Had you reached institute before the class ended?
  3. Had you ever killed a snake before?
  4. Had you cleaned up the mess by the time they came home?
  5. Had they already given a book to the student to read?
  6. Had she given a knife to him to cut fruits?
